At the end of my street…

At the end of my street there is bush. There are patches of open scrub and in the late Spring the area is spotted with hundreds of Australian Flannel Flowers. Their sweet heads stick up above the scrub and change the dull green scrub into delightful expanse of movement. They move gently in the breeze and the velvety surface of the petals make them a pleasant surprise as you walk amongst them. You can walk through the same area at any other time of year and just see scrub, but it is only in late spring that they are such a delightful surprise.

You can have an Australian wild flower around your neck any time you fancy with an AshleeEllen Design pure silk scarf.
