Gum (eucalyptus) trees are native to Australia although they are now being planted in many other parts of the world as they are such a hardy and versatile tree.

There is an old gum tree in a garden in Avalon Beach and frequently it sheds its leaves. The leaves lie in the garden where they have landed slowly turning pale and hard. Viewed against a white background you can still see the delicate veins and the soft greys and green of the leaves. This is an elegant and classic design and intended for someone truly special.
